Ryan at the John Glenn, Syraucse, NY store was the BEST salesman ever! He was very patient and explained everything in simple terms. Sometimes more than once, as I would ask lots of questions. It was like talking to a person I've known for years.

We were looking for a king sized mattress and stopped at Metro Mattress to see what they had. Our salesperson was Ryan who first fitted us for a comfortable pillow and then took us on a "comfort tour" of many of the beds. We spent 4-6 minutes laying on each mattress, working our way from very soft to very firm, and listening to a discussion of the various features of each mattress. Ryan was a very accommodating salesperson, very attuned to what we liked and didn't like in both a pillow and a mattress. He was truly interested in fitting us with the right items.After trying a lot of beds we selected the "Pure Tally Bliss" mattress which, beside being very comfortable for both of us, is made in AMERICA, hypoallergenic and dissipates body heat. We also purchased the king EZ base, a GM Vertex mattress protector that also dissipates heat, two pillows and a headboard. The total price with tax, removal of an old mattress and the moving of another mattress was around $4,700.00. We have slept now on the new bed for about 2 weeks and are very happy with our purchases. The mattress and the mattress pad really do dissipate excess body heat!Delivery was quick, we could have had it delivered the next day, but chose to have it all delivered in 2 days time. The headboard came from another store and that was delivered in 3 days. There was a problem fitting the headboard with the pre drilled holes in the EZ Base, but after two tries by the installers they were able to mount a modification plate to fit the headboard to the base. I was impressed by their persistence and attention to detail.

Our salesman was top-notch! He spent so much time with us trying mattresses and explaining the different options-not to mention helping us find the right fit for our budget as well! We would absolutely recommend him and the store to others!

The customer service on the phone and online were wonderful. The delivery people were really nice, they came in and put the box spring and mattress up and took out my old ones. The only bad thing was the box spring I bought was poor quality and pretty much made of plywood. It already has a hole in it. Otherwise it was a great experience!

I had a good experience purchasing my mattress here. The salesperson was very well-informed and chose mattresses for me to test that were what I was looking for comfort-wise. I just wish they hadn't shown me the most expensive mattresses on the floor right off the bat.

Sales manager very helpful. Went out of his way to make sure We were the 1st delivery in the am before I went to work. The delivery guys were very polite and professional,swiftly removing my old mattress /box spring and setting up the new ones. Over all great experience!!

Ryan and Ryan were both so helpful. I told them what I wanted to spend on a mattress for our son. They showed me everything available in that price range and a little above. They were very patient and knowledgeable of what each mattress offers. I felt so comfortable with the 2 and was a little bummed when I had to leave. Felt like I was with family. I felt confident I was not being taken advantage of. I was treated with respect and kindness. Ed was also there. He was very professional and personable. He offered me eggnog which I thought was so super kind . Again, felt more like a family gathering then mattress shopping. I would definitely recommend Metro Mattress to our friends and family. This is our 2nd mattress purchase since summer. Each experience was very pleasant. Our neighbor, Harry Clute, suggested your company to us. Harry has also been extremely helpful. I am very thankful for his suggestion. Definitely give a 10!!

Ryan and Kevin were very helpful in choosing a mattress to meet our needs. We needed a mattress for a guest room before the Christmas holiday. We chose a mattress and our guests said they were very comfortable. However, I was a bit surprised to see an indentation already after only two weeks of use especially when a 5 year old mostly slept on it. I was assured of the good quality of the mattress and realize that some compression happens so hopefully this small compression is all that happens.

The in store service was excellent. There was no rush, no pressure and plenty of time to test multiple mattresses. The salesman knew his stock very well. The delivery was unimaginably fast - 7:30 the following morning. Deliverymen were very professional and polite. All in all it was a good shopping experience and I would recommend Metro Mattress.

I ordered the EZbase frame online and selected the delivery option which was more expensive than just shipping the product because the website indicated that this option included assembly. Delivery was scheduled for 6 to 9 pm on a Saturday. I had other plans during the day but was able to be home by 5:45pm. Starting around 4:40 pm the delivery team began calling me. They called me over ten times and left mutliple messages. Turns out they had finished early and I was the last call of the day. When I returned their calls, around 5:05 pm, the driver was very brusque. I indicated that I couldn't be home for another 30 minutes so I was willing to forgo the assembly and just have them leave the product. He said "We are not setting this up." I was confused and said that I had paid more for that option, and he just repeated that they refused to set it up. He told me they could wait or I could reschedule. Wanting to clarify the set up issue I opted to reschedule. I realize this man wanted his day to be over and was frustrated that I was not home, however he showed extremely poor customer service and outright lied to me. I went to the metro mattress store instead of going home and the salesperson indicated that, with only a few exceptions, most deliveries absolutely do come with set up. It was too late for the drivers to come back so we rescheduled for Monday night. I asked for some accommodations given the inconvenience. She said she would have to look into that and would call me back when she was next at work, that coming Tuesday. I have still not received a call. The 2nd delivery team was exceptional. Similar to the first, I was the last delivery of the day but they were friendly, effficient, and provided great customer service. Given this mixed experience I would think twice about using Metro Mattress again. I have had good experiences with the products, but I don't appreciate being lied to or treated rudely, or being ignored when I have made a request.

When we walked into Metro Mattress, my husband and I were clueless on what to look for in a new mattress. So much has changed in the last 10 years since we bought our last mattress, which was also purchased through Metro Mattress. Jennifer came over right away and made us feel comfortable. She was very thorough educating us on many of the mattresses. She asked a lot of questions to understand what we needed and wanted in a mattress. After laying down and trying multiple beds, we found our mattress. We ended up purchasing a Tempur-Flex Breeze Queen set. We are excited for its delivery this week.
