• Metro Mattress Continues to Grow With New Location in Lansing, N.Y....Upstate New York’s largest mattress retailer opens 43rd store location in Upstate New York

  09/26/2011 - Last Thursday, Metro Mattress, Upstate New York's largest mattress retailer, opened a brand new location at 2300 N. Triphammer Road in Lansing, N.Y. The new store is located in the Tops Plaza near the main entrance of the Pyramid Mall. Metro Mattress continues to expand its reach throughout New York State, with special concentration in the Central New York area. In addition to the new Lansing store location, the mattress retailer also has a showroom in Ithaca, located at 408 Elmira Road. Over the past 36 years, the Syracuse-based retailer has become a local institution in several Upstate New York markets, including Syracuse/Central New York (12 stores), Rochester (10 stores), Buffalo (8 stores), Albany (8 stores), Utica/Rome (3 stores), and the Southern Tier (2 stores). • Seven Le Moyne Elementary School students with perfect attendance win bicycles from Metro Mattress

  06/26/2009 - Twenty-three students at Le Moyne Elementary School had perfect attendance during the 2008-09 school year. As an incentive, the names of students with perfect attendance were put into a drawing and one student from each grade (K, 2, 3 and 4) was selected to win a bicycle donated by Metro Mattress. Two fifth grade students were selected and one additional bike was awarded to a student with perfect attendance that was chosen from all grade levels.
